A New Place to Shop on Grant AvenueVandergrift, PA (Park) - The Vandergrift Market, a spin-off of the Vandergrift Farmers' Market, is a new indoor market where various vendors are gathering each week to sell their goods. It is located at 134 Grant Ave., Vandergrift in the old J.C. Penney's building. Our hours of operation are Thursdays 3-6:30 pm, the same time as the Farmers' Market at the Columbia Ave. parking lot. Vendors may rotate but currently we have for sale: handmade baby quilts, beaded jewelry, Pampered Chef, Barber Foods, laser cut wood jewelry, Ganovia coffee, handcrafted greeting cards, and handmade cell phone bags. The V.I.P. owns this old building that has been sitting vacant for many years and would like to see it in use. They started this market to allow local artisans and businesses a place to display and sell their products, as well as to give the community a locale to purchase from local residents.
