15th Annual Canoe Sojourn starts at Crooked Creek Lake: Overnight stays at the Crooked Creek Environmental Learning Center, the sojourn consists of up to four days on local waterways. Organized by the StrongLand Chamber Foundation in partnership with the PA Organization for Watersheds and Rivers, also the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR). This event is sanctioned by the American Canoe Association.

Thursday, May 17th: Flat water refresher course at Crooked Creek Lake

Friday, May 18th: From Blairsville to the Conemaugh Dam (10 miles)

Saturday, May 19th: Roaring Run to Hyde Park

Sunday, May 20th: Mahoning Creek to the Allegheny River at Templeton

Important to know:

Subject to change based on weather and/or water levels.
No pets allowed.
No alcohol permitted on the rivers or the weekend at the ELC
