Terms and Conditions of Use - Local4All.com |
The law often concerns itself with community standards. To that end, Local4All defines itself as a collection of community content, and that the users of Local4All comprise a community, that community standards will influence the acceptance or rejection of advertising content and public commentary, and that the community standards will be characterized by "family-friendly, child-safe" and will not include pornography, obscenities, foul language, evidence of racial prejudice, hatred, bigotry, and the like. As such:
Businesses must provide and maintain enough information that Local4All can contact a decision-maker if problems arise in the course of advertising the business, including at least one valid email address and one phone number. In the case the owner of the account does not have an email address, the owner must authorize a person with a valid email address to act as liaison. Businesses must be viable. If a Local4All advertiser files for bankruptcy or begins to close the business, details must be made known to the public. In the case of closing down, an appropriate contact's information should be displayed in the 'public contact' space. Business advertising with Local4All is payable in advance or at the time of registration except as authorized in advance by Local4All at its sole discretion. Businesses registering online using Local4All forms may choose to have a portion of their payment directed to a pre-approved nonprofit Recipient Organization. Companies using the services of Local4All Agents or volunteers to register online may select from available nonprofits or, in the absence of such selection, effectively delegate the choice to their Agent, the volunteer, or Local4All. Right to Recover Damages: Local4All has the right to alter and/or remove content that does not comply with the above Terms and Conditions of Use and to charge for the time and effort required to do so, including administrative overview. Additionally, Local4All has the right to recover attorneys' fees, costs of documentation, and costs of collection. JURISDICTION: The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall apply. |
