I enjoy volunteering? What can I do to help?
Spread the word! Use one or more of the forms to publish something for yourself, a friend, or a nonprofit organization. It's pretty easy. For editing purposes, we need for you to have an ID number plus username and password. Click here to set up a personal account.
|
How do I log in?
Click the "Login" link at the top right of most pages or click here.
|
What if I forget my password?
Go to the login form and click the link at the bottom reading "Forget your password? Go here." A temporary password will be emailed to your registered email address. Use it to log in and change your password to something you can remember easily. If you forget your username, too, give us a call.

What training is available for volunteers?
We have online tutorials and, as trainers become available outside of Pennsylvania and Ohio, we will add regional seminars and workshops. Large non-profits have the manpower to add to our efforts - have the appropriate communications and resource development staff get in touch with us. Our contact information is always available at the "Contact Us" button; click here to view our contact information now.

Can I be a trainer?
Possibly. Please send us an email with your resume attached. Note your location and distance you are willing to travel, also details of previous training experience and volunteerism.

How do I get started simply as a volunteer?
You'll want to start with a few basic forms - events, photo requests, notes, and "thank you" messages - just to practice. You'll also want to sign up for a personal account so you can edit your postings if details change.

If I post something, can I edit the content later?
For events, Hometown Links, Online Brochures, and personal information, the answer is yes. When you log in, you will see a list of items you can edit, including your contact information, password, and online brochures for businesses and non-profits. When you open the form to add events, you are given the option of logging in and, when you are logged in, you can list your own prior event postings for copying, editing, or deletion.
