Scrunched up on his sister’s lap, Daniel giggles, an innocent, glee-filled sound, as he pushes keys on a handheld GameBoy. “Star Wars, Episode Three” is the 7 year old’s current favorite. His cropped Irish red hair is in bright contrast to his 15-year-old sister, Sara’s, dishwater blond. His pencil-thin arms and legs in contrast to his sister’s healthy teenage body. Compacting his body within her arms as if folding in on himself, Daniel teases Sara.
“You made me poke my eye out,” he says, a spurt of giggles follows.
“I did not. You had your own finger in your eye. Why would I do that?” Sara says smiling as she gently strokes his forehead pushing strands of hair aside.
“Because you are the eye poker outer,” Daniel says, then giggles and returns his attention to the game.
