Riverfront ParkKittanning's original Riverfront Park extends from Market St northward along the East bank of the Allegheny River. It is home to the Fort Armstrong Folk Festival held in early August each year.The newer South Riverfront Park is from the Kittanning Citizens' Bridge on Business 422 southward and includes John Murtha Ampitheater, boat docks adjacent to the ampitheater and a public boat launch and parking just downstream from the ampitheater. Two gazebos are nearby which can be rented. Call 724-543-1538 for information and to check availability. |
