Butler County Placemats – 4 Areas To Choose From

Butler County business owners talked, we listened.

With the previous Butler placemats distribution area spanning 35 miles east to west and 30 miles or so north to south, it took a special type of business to see enough value in our Local4All placemats.  For the right businesses, the low cost and wide area was a slam-dunk no-brainer.  For “neighborhood” oriented businesses, though,  those with a market area spanning 5-10 miles, it was less effective and didn’t make good sense.

Now, with the Butler area divided into four areas, local businesses can stay in their own neighborhood or focus on one or more areas for expansion.  It’s a good thing and a big THANK YOU goes out to John Brown of John Brown’s Custom Exhaust for being the first to call it to our attention.

[Special note from Carl:  Our graphic designer Cathy says "I told you so".  Oops! Yes, she did and I didn't listen very well at all.  Sorry, Cathy.]

A list of restaurants sorted by area:

  • Central – Country Kitchen (1/2 SSE, 1/2 Central), Crossbow Lounge, and Linda’s South Side Restaurant.
  • West – Roxy’s and hopefully several more coming soon.
  • North – The Spillway on Rt 38, the Elbo Room and Millerstown Inn in Chicora, Miller’s in Karns City, Hometown Grill at Kepple’s Corners, and St. Cloud Hotel in East Brady.
  • SouthSouthEast (“SSE”) – Country Kitchen (1/2), Davison’s (1/2 our Butler SSE, 1/2 our FNS placemats), Donna’s Family Restaurant on 228, and  Zacherl’s in Saxonburg

Quantities & Pricing: After careful consideration, we are pricing our placemats by units, each unit being 3 boxes of mats in the same area equal to 7500 placemats.

Businesses can use all their units in one area or mix and match.  Because of the differing number of restaurants per area and placemats used per day, how long a unit lasts will vary.

Duration based on daily averages as of March 22, 2010:

  • SSE:  26 days
  • Central:  54 days
  • North:  68 days
  • West:  86 days

Pricing will be based on volume discounts.  Until we have an online shopping cart that can predict how long each will last and a total cost, please call Carl to discuss your needs.

First edition printing date should be around April 7th.

Nonprofits can sell our ads, too. Easy fundraising, good value.

Fundraising? Nonprofit volunteers can help us sell ads as a fundraising project.  YES, we want to help when and where we can.

Tip: Let us help if we can.  There is no cost for a consultation by phone and often we can (and will) find a way to have a meet-up.  We highly recommend a location that has internet access so we can show examples online, not printed pages.
